Investment Commitment
Spheroid Universe (Spheroid), an extended reality metaverse company, announced that it has secured an investment commitment of $25 million from ABO Digital. The funds will be used for further development of the infrastructure within Spheroid Universe. This includes building tools like the cross-platform programming language, Spheroid Script, which is designed to speed up and reduce the cost of developing AR/XR applications.
About Spheroid
As a platform for developing extended reality projects, the technological basis of Spheroid is the XR Cloud and the SPH utility token. SPH is used to fuel all activities on the platform such as exchanging Spaces (virtual lands of the universe), advertising in XR, placing content, and for various other platform services. One example product powered by SPH is called “Spheroid Earth” which is an open global project for creating Earth 3D Digital Twin.
